Basic Training
All our staff members undergo basic training to ensure that they are ready to handle the difficult tasks of keeping the public safe. This training consists of many different aspects such as power to arrest, observation and documentation and communication.
Also included in basic training are liability and legal aspects. This is a very important aspect of training as it teaches the security officer the legal implications involved that could influence the company or the security officer directly. Public relations are also a vital part of training a security officer. This allows a security officer to prevent stereotyping on any possible grounds including racial discrimination. Security officers are also taught to recognise indications of substance abuse as well as psychological illness.
